A ToDo List is useless unless tightly coupled/integrated with a Calendar, i.e. I really cant fathom why Microsoft is acting stubborn about this. (Note: This Kludgy approach is entirely avoidable, if Microsoft either replaces TASKS completely by ToDo and /or allows seamless drag and drop from ToDo onto Outlook Calendar. So I use a method of a DASL Today filter in my Outlook Tasks viewer so that any Todo MyDay shows up in my Outlook Tasks, and from there I can drag and drop onto the calendar. The reason i do this is since Microsoft has yet to allow seamless drag and drop between Todo and Outlook Calendar in the desktop Outlook App. I use VDesk to launch specific apps in specific desktops.įor one of these virtual desktops, i use FancyZones, so that I can see my Outlook calendar, My Outlook Tasks and Microsoft Todo side by side in a 3-column layout. The name was also slightly updated by removing the hyphen from To-Do.Description of the new feature / enhancement In September 2019, a major update to the app was unveiled, adopting a new user interface with a closer resemblance to Wunderlist.
